Maximizing Productivity For an LGU

Inabanga is classed as 3rd class town or municipality in Bohol, Philippines Frontline Plus For Large Dogs annual average income during the last three years as more than P30,000,000. The mayor of Inabanga is Jose Jono Jumamoy who has a double degree in Management and International Business at Northwood University at West Palm Beach, Florida, is only 21 years old when he was elected during the May 14, 2007 elections. Already, a local newspaper is speculating that he might just be the youngest mayor in the Philippines.

What is with Inabanga that caught my attention was that their local government is powered by Mac, the world’s most advanced computer system. Yes, it’s true that the Mayor value more productivity of his employees over what we know expensive computers from Apple. Macs, is not just a good tool to make your work easier and efficient, it is quite intuitive and fun to learn, full of useful application software bundled with it, not prawn to viruses and a work of art gadget.

iWork ‘09, Mac’s office productivity suite is the easiest way to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations the Mac way. And it’s compatible with Microsoft Office.

Theirs is the only local government unit in the Philippines that I know uses Mac. In addition, they are using hi-speed wireless internet access. I admired how the Mayor envisioned to provide each employee with a Mac if their local government budget allows.

A training on Mac OS and bundled software was held at their own city hall last January 3 & 4, 2008. The trainer is France Daga, a Mac expert based in Cebu, Philippines.
