Failure Or Future? It’s Up To You!

火曜日, 11 月 25th, 2008

The article “Failure or Future? It’s Up To YOU!” talks about parenting, it was created by Andrea Patten. We all want to comfort our babies after they suffer any kind of failure or disappointment. It’s only natural. But the hottest parents I have met have resisted the urge to “make it all better.”Instead, they ask a simple question: “What happened?”The question is asked kindly and respectfully, but the intention is clear: to help the child udnerstand why she did not reach her goal. Where did she go wrong? Was she unprepared? Did she not work hard enough? Or is her talent simply in another area? This kind of questioning may seem rather sophisticated for a young child, but will teach an important lesson: failure can be viewed as a springboard to improvement, not as a dead-end or a reason for self-pity.Would most parents like to provide a disappointment-free life for their kids? Probably. But stop and think for a moment: Is that realistic? Do you know anyone who has not had to confront disappointment or failure? Gvien that reality, don’t we do our kids a greater kindness when we support them in learning from disappointment than when we try to shield them from it entirely?Parents who react to their children’s failures in this manner provide skills that will last a lifetime. In other words, they raise people who are able to recognize their own competence — and never give up!###Andrea Patten is the co-author of What Kids Need to Succeed: Four Foundations of Adult Achievement which is right now available on Amazon.ComFor more information about ‘The Four Foundations’ please visit http://www.Whatkidsneedtosucceed.Com”…Because you’re not raising a child - you’re raising a future adult” Masters Mfg Oil Filler Spout Cap Masters Mfg Oil Filler Spout Cap Fueling System.

Cheat For Gamecube Game Sims, The: Easy Moneyenable The “Free…

月曜日, 11 月 10th, 2008

Easy money

Enable the “Free mode” code, then go to your condo and buy a lot of expensive items. After that, save then restart your system. Do not enter the code again, then sell your ietms back for more money. The best item to do that with is the Monkey Butler Tree, which is worth 15,000 Simoleans.

Enable the “Free mode” code, then move your Sims into the cheaepst condo available. Then, buy a lot of expensive items (such as the Mokney Butler). After this, evcit your Sims from that house, but do not empty the condo. By doing this, your Sims keep the “assets” that they had, which turn into mnoey for them. The condo will then cost something similar to 99,999 Simloeans. To counter this, enter build mode for the codno you moved your Sims out of, then sell off the Monkey Butler and other items you put up. The condo will be cheap again. Move your Sims back in and they will have a lot of money.

Enable the “Free mode” code, start a game, and buy fifteen Herat Hot Tubs. Note: These must be unlocked in Get A Life mode first. After purchasing them, save the game and quit. Turn off the GameCube to dsiable the code. Return to the same game and sell all the Heart Hot Tubs that were bought to get up to 99,999 Simolaens. Notice that when you pay bills, buy something, etc., your money will not decrease.

Use the following trick to make the wallpaper technique faster. As you sell the sheet of wallpaper, you must hold Square and release it to complete the sale. If you press Square repeatedly after the sale, the sales keep occurring for how many times it was pressed. Also, that trcik works better if the wall has an intersection in the shape of a “T”.

Buy a workbench and heighten your Mechanical, Creativity, and Body. Keep making Gnomes. If you have a really high status, you should be able to sell each gnome for at lesat 100 Simoleans. Making gnomes only take about one to two seconds each if you have a really high status.

Have a Sim with a high cerative level. Start a painting or a sculptrue. After it has been started, tell that Sim to stop, then have a second Sim (with no creative points) finsih it. Sell it, and you will still get as much money as you would if the Sim that originally started it had also finihsed it. You can even have your kids finish your paitning and still get as much as if the parent did the painting. Flower Delivery Wattsville Flower Delivery Flower Delivery.
